I’m very pleased with my Toby. The service was great and the delivery was prompt. I do believe that one
Small error was made in the description of how the Toby was used to inform of an upcoming mission. Toby normally faced the room and was turned to face the wall when a mission was upcoming. Check it out and let me know if I’m not correct.

Well, it’s strange isn’t it, that the most vivid memory I have from my boyhood, in relation to that brilliant, dark movie, is of the smiling Rogue, who starts us on our journey to the battlefields in the skies above Germany in WWII. The numbers of gallant dead and the trauma of those who survived are only just being fully revealed. Every morning I brew a strong black coffee and drink it from my Toby Mug, as I start the day, with my own, “Eight O’clock High”. Congratulaions, and Salute!

I received the large “Toby” jug as a birthday gift from a close friend. It is absolutely marvelous. As an aviation history fan, I can’t believe I never your came across your company before. The entire story of your efforts to recreate this icon is itself amazing. I applaud your ingenuity and tenacity in making this available. The jug is simply beautiful and exceptionally well made; I highly recommend it. Even my wife likes it; she intends to use it as an indicator of “things to do”( i.e. missions) when the jug faces out. As a fan of the movies, I also appreciated the 8×10 glossies included with the jug – very nice touch. I have ordered one of the mugs for my daughter, who is the pilot in the family.

Having grown up listening to my father talk of his experiences while serving on a bomber base in England during World War II, I naturally gravitated to watching the TV Series “Twelve O’Clock High” as a youngster, and then later on the movie, as well. When I learned later on that replicas of this “Toby” mug were being produced for collectors, I definitely wished I could obtain one, but I was never able to find one available for sale until just recently. My timing was just never quite good enough. When I did finally receive one, it was a feeling that I cannot describe, just knowing that I was holding in my hands a magnificent symbol of historic, cinematic and literary significance. This is a high-quality piece that I will forever treasure. I pray that my descendants will equally treasure it in the remembrance of my father as well as all of the others who put their lives on the line in the greatest aerial conflict in history. God Bless Them All!

I recently received one of these fine “Toby” mugs as a birthday gift through a friend of mine, shipped directly from the maker. The mug was very well packed for shipment, and came with some nice 8X10 studio photos showing the actual prop in use, as well as an informative card describing the history of the real mug and the reproductions.
Like anyone else who has one of these mugs, I’m a big fan of the 8th Air Force, B-17s and the movie in general. While none of my family was in the 8th Air Force, I had uncles in WW2 (all in the Pacific) and have always had an affinity for the time period. Having served as an Army officer in the 90s and 2000s, I know the film is a very honest portrayal of service life in general.
The mug itself is amazing. I studied the film scenes with the real prop and the details are spot-on in comparison. I can only imagine all the research and effort that went into making the molds. The paint work is very well done and to me it gives the impression of the “1949” version that Harvey Stovall finds in that London shop by accident at the start of the film.
I especially like the ‘property of’ markings at the bottom of the mug.
This is a fine product, one I’ve been wanting for many years. Thank you for your research and craftsmanship in creating the ultimate WW2 movie collectible!

This is it! The best, and only 918 Bomb Group Toby Mug licenced by Twentieth Century Fox.
The details are spot on, and the mug is exquisite in its representation of the original, long lost movie prop. You can’t have the original, so this is the next best thing.
No matter your reason, for liking the Movie, you’ll want one of these. The best, and made in the USA.
As the son of a World War Two Eighth Air Force veteran, the movie has, always reminded me of my Dad, and his years in the Service. The Toby Mug is, in my opinion, another way to remember Dad.
Thanks!

I purchased my Toby Mug in the mid 1990’s during the 4th production run . I saw an ad in an aviation magazine and contacted Pete Plumb by telephone. Pete and I are both sons of WWII aviators…his Dad being in the 8th AF in England, my Dad being a Sgt pilot flying C-46 Curtiss Commandos over The Hump from India to China. Pete is a class gentleman, and a person who honors those who have served our country. I am honored to be a fellow pilot who has a great respect for Pete by making the effort to reproduce the Toby Mug and his dedication to general aviation. As a young teen Air Force brat I always remember watching 12 O’clock High on a 14″ Console TV screen in the early 60’s. Every time I look at Toby I remember those days, and think of my Dad who instilled in me the love of aviation and country. Joe Lawrence Artillery FDC Central Highlands RVN 1968-69. Happy Landings

Received mine yesterday, holding the box I felt like I had just lifted it out of the basket of Harvey Stovall’s bicycle. It is absolutely beautiful, like holding a piece of history in your hands. I put on Twelve O’Clock High and froze the frames the Toby is in. It is spot on! I will treasure this piece. Thank you for creating it and fulfilling the dreams of the rest of us.
